Shield Volcano
Shield Volcanoes are a wide volcano with shallow sloping slides. Shield Volcanoes are formed by lava flows with low viscosity. Viscosity is the state of being thick, sticky and semifluid in consistency. If something has low viscosity that means it is loose type of substance because High viscosity would mean that it was really sticky. Low viscosity is the opposite of high viscosity. Some of the largest volcanoes on Earth are shield volcanoes, example the Mauna Loa Volcano. Shield Volcanoes are almost entirely built of fluid lava flows.
